respite

the last week Shanean has been at home, but still had to go to the hospital a couple of times

1. Another scan on Wednesday - this was to check for possible "b" symptoms due to her reaction last week.
2. Blood transfusions on Friday as her hemoglobins were still very low. This took 5 hours

Next Wednesday she has an appointment with another professor - a status update and results of the scan and will probably confirm the next hospital admission date of next Monday

She is doing a lot better than when we first picked her up, every day a bit of strength comes back, although still very fatigued and tired. At the moment she has a very painful back - similar to the first round of chemos there is a lot of ligament damaged caused by all the drugs although this will be discussed next Wednesday as well no doubt
