Today Shanean had her first scan since the chemo started. It was the same as before - drinking some radioactive liquid then lying on a table for a full body scan which goes for about an hour or so
We were not sure how long the results would take to get back to us, but pretty much as soon as she got home there was a missed call from the Professor. When she called his office back he was gone, but the message left was as follows...
"You will be pleased to know that the scan was all clear"
Not much else to go off yet, but sounds like a scan that was "all clear" means no more cancer
Champagne is on ice - will pop the cork when we get more info from the Prof
We are so pleased about the good news will also open champagne and toast on good health.
