Round II

Today is the second round of Chemo. Shanean has to go up to the hospital at 8am for an appointment with Prof Joshua and will then go to Gloucester House which is the RPA's cancer outpatient unit. This place is a whole building for people to come in and get their chemo - there is lots of purple and its a relaxed atmosphere with music playing and staff dressed in casual clothes

It will be a 5 hour procedure so she will be there most of the day

After a near miss getting on the plane, due to an administrative oversight on my behalf, Shanean's parents arrived last night - they had a good flight via Singapore. All the planes were empty so there was plenty of space for them so they werent too zombie like which is usually the case on flights between Africa and Australia

Shanean's hair is all but gone now - it fell out very quickly, we were going to shave the remnants off last night but didnt quite get to it. She has to wear a hat now outside - still yet to try out the wig

She was still feeling perfectly fine, she walked up to the hospital with Joel and her parents. Will no doubt be a different story when we get her back this afternoon - straight to bed
