Shanean is home from hospital. She was discharged at about midday today.
It was a bit of a rough night for her last night, the nausea came back strongly and she is a bit achy in the bones which is a side effect from the needle she had (increases white blood cell count). She is OK now, nausea has eased off a bit and things should slowly get better from now until the next cycle
Next steps for her is a blood test on the 6th November to check the white blood cell count (this is when they are expected to be at the lowest point of the cycle) and then nothing until the 20th of November when Chemo round 2 starts. This is the one that will probably make her hair fall out
The kids are driving home with the Grandparents. Grafton is about 700km north of Sydney which should more than satisfy the quarantine restrictions placed between Shanean and Celeste. I will fly up next weekend to get them, hopefully Shanean may be able to come as well
See you next weekend, hopefully we will see Shanean as well.
