so after the last 2 week of treatment Shanean is at rock bottom of the cycle or in technical terms "neutrapenic" (sic). Basically all the white blood cells, red blood cells and every other cell it seems is at zero count.
Its rough down here for her, she is very sick and has picked up an infection due to her having no immunity - she has a very high fever (39-40 degrees) and genuinely feels like crap. as an added bonus the mouth ulcers/sores in her mouth have spread down her throat into her chest
They have put her on morphine every 4 hours (injected into her stomach) and has lots of paracetemol via IV as well as mouthwash and various tablets and injections and will be getting a blood/platellete transfusion later this evening.
Being at zero means that up is the only way from here - based on past experiences she bounces back as quick as she goes down, so hopefully by tomorrow evening she will be feeling better.
