Shanean had her first chemo session yesterday at about 500pm
The drugs are administered intraveneously by a nurse who is dressed in protective clothing from head to toe (including eye masks). The drugs are kept in an esky thing with skull and crossbone warning stickers on it
Purple is the chemo colour. Shanean has to wear a purple arm bracelet, the chemo nurse wears purple protective clothing and the drugs themselves are purple. When the drugs went into her arm her veins went purple.
